Exploring the Mighty Pacific and Savoring the Essence of South America
The South America World Cruise this time spans across 14 countries and 19 ports over 90 nights and 91 days, from January 9th to April 9th, crossing from the Pacific to South America. Departing from Yokohama, the journey begins with Saipan, then moves through Tahiti and Easter Island, before circling South America and ending at Honolulu, the 19th port, carefully selected by the journey maestro, JTB. Highlights include stunning views such as the Chilean fjords and unique cultural experiences and UNESCO World Heritage Sites at each port of call, all of which offer experiences exclusive to this luxurious cruise.
Of particular note are three special invitation-only tours exclusive to passengers. These tours, included at no additional cost, offer the opportunity to explore the mysteries of Easter Island, the kingdom of penguins in Stanley, where access by plane is difficult, and the extravagant Carnival of Rio, one of the world most dazzling celebrations. Notably, the Rio Carnival offers reserved seats for the parade, promising an unforgettable experience.
Moreover, passengers can enjoy both the northern and southern hemisphere starry skies during the voyage, and in March, they can witness a total lunar eclipse while at sea, offering a celestial spectacle orchestrated by nature. It not just about traveling; it about experiencing a series of special moments like no other.
A journey visiting 19 ports across 14 countries around the world
Out of the total 19 ports, 11 ports are located around the South American continent. While undoubtedly a journey to savor the majestic transitions of the Southern Hemisphere nature and delve into its rich history and culture, one of its greatest charms lies in the intercultural exchange. Interacting with the people who inhabit these regions, as well as experiencing the flora and fauna, becomes an invaluable experience in one life. This grand voyage is not just a dream journey but also a personal odyssey.
